ServiceNow SecOps Architect
Job Summary:
The ServiceNow SecOps Architect is a strategic and technical role responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing the ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) module to enhance the organization's security posture. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to align security operations with business objectives, leading SecOps projects, and ensuring the effective integration of security tools and processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the ServiceNow platform, strong technical skills, and a deep understanding of security operations.
Key Responsibilities:• Architecture and Design:
+ Lead the design and architecture of the ServiceNow SecOps module, including Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Response, Threat Intelligence, and Security Operations Automation.
+ Develop and maintain a comprehensive architecture blueprint for SecOps, ensuring alignment with business and security objectives.
+ Define and document technical requirements, solution architectures, and implementation plans.
• Implementation and Optimization:
+ Lead the implementation and configuration of the ServiceNow SecOps module to meet organizational requirements.
+ Optimize the SecOps module for performance, scalability, and usability.
+ Ensure best practices in configuration, customization, and integration of SecOps functionalities.
• Integration and Automation:
+ Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow SecOps and other security tools (e.g., SIEMs, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners).
+ Develop and implement automation workflows to streamline security processes and improve response times.
+ Ensure seamless data flow and consistency across integrated systems.
• Strategic Planning and Governance:
+ Work with senior management to develop and implement a strategic roadmap for ServiceNow SecOps.
+ Establish governance frameworks and standards for SecOps module usage and data management.
+ Conduct regular reviews and updates to the SecOps architecture to adapt to evolving security needs.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
+ Collaborate with IT, security, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, address concerns, and ensure successful deployment of SecOps solutions.
+ Provide guidance and expertise to internal teams and stakeholders on SecOps capabilities and best practices.
+ Lead workshops and training sessions to educate stakeholders on the use and benefits of the SecOps module.
• Security Incident and Vulnerability Management:
+ Oversee the security incident response process, ensuring timely and effective resolution of incidents.
+ Manage the vulnerability response process, ensuring vulnerabilities are identified, prioritized, and remediated.
+ Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and procedures.
• Continuous Improvement:
+ Continuously assess and improve SecOps processes, tools, and workflows.
+ Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in security operations.
+ Lead initiatives to enhance the organization's security operations maturity.


Experience:• 7+ years of experience in IT security operations or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow platform, including SecOps module implementation and management.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing security operations solutions at an enterprise level.


Skills:• Expert knowledge of ServiceNow SecOps modules (Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Response, Threat Intelligence).
• Strong understanding of security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript and experience with ServiceNow development.
• Experience with integrating security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEMs, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.


Certifications (Preferred):• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Security Incident Response.
• CISSP, CISM, or other relevant security certifications.

• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow and security operations tools.
