ServiceNow SecOps Administrator
Job Summary:
The ServiceNow SecOps Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) module. This role involves ensuring the effective and efficient use of the SecOps module to enhance the company's security posture, streamline security incident response, and manage vulnerabilities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, in-depth knowledge of security operations, and experience with the ServiceNow platform.
Key Responsibilities:• ServiceNow SecOps Administration:
+ Configure and maintain the ServiceNow SecOps module, including Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Response, and Threat Intelligence.
+ Manage and update security incident workflows, ensuring efficient and effective incident handling.
+ Integrate SecOps with other security tools and data sources, such as SIEMs, endpoint protection, and vulnerability scanners.
• Security Incident Response:
+ Monitor and respond to security incidents using the SecOps module.
+ Ensure timely and accurate documentation of security incidents and actions taken.
+ Coordinate with the security operations team to remediate security incidents.
• Vulnerability Management:
+ Manage the vulnerability response process, including the import, triage, and remediation of vulnerabilities.
+ Ensure the vulnerability database is up-to-date and accurate.
+ Work with IT teams to prioritize and address vulnerabilities.
• Configuration and Customization:
+ Customize the SecOps module to meet organizational requirements.
+ Develop and implement scripts, business rules, UI policies, and workflows.
+ Create and manage dashboards and reports to provide visibility into security operations.
• Integration and Automation:
+ Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow SecOps and other security tools.
+ Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and response times.
+ Ensure data integrity and consistency across integrated systems.
• User Support and Training:
+ Provide user support and training for the SecOps module.
+ Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for new users.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the SecOps module.
• Compliance and Documentation:
+ Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and frameworks.
+ Maintain thorough documentation of configurations, customizations, and integrations.
+ Support audits and assessments related to security operations.


Experience:• 3+ years of experience in IT security operations or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience with ServiceNow administration, preferably with a focus on SecOps.


Skills:• Strong understanding of security incident response, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence.
• Proficiency in configuring and customizing ServiceNow SecOps modules.
• Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript.
• Knowledge of security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEMs, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


Certifications (Preferred):• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Security Incident Response.
• CISSP, CISM, or other relevant security certifications.
