ServiceNow Platform Governance and Stability LeadDescription -The Platform Governance and Stability Lead is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and compliance of the ServiceNow platform. This role oversees system health, manages instance security, collaborates with vendor teams to prevent failures, and optimizes platform efficiency. The ideal candidate should have strong scripting skills to troubleshoot issues, automate processes, and guide the team in resolving complex platform challenges.Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee stability, performance, and compliance of the ServiceNow platform to ensure continuous availability.
• Manage database archival, execution control, and routine system maintenance.
• Perform Platform Administrator duties, including performance monitoring, debugging, and issue remediation.
• Work closely with vendor teams to maintain system health, prevent failures, and optimize platform efficiency.
• Ensure instance security, manage User/Group Access & Access Control Lists (ACLs).
• Utilize scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript, PowerShell, or Python) to debug platform issues, automate processes, and improve performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to analyze and resolve system errors efficiently.
• Implement governance best practices and work cross-functionally to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Expert-level experience in ServiceNow platform governance, administration, and performance management.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow scripting, APIs, and automation for debugging and optimization.
• Experience with system monitoring, troubleshooting, and compliance enforcement.
• Proficiency in access control, database management, and performance optimization.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and guide teams in problem-solving and automation.

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in computer programming languages, testing tools, or a related field.
