We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant specializing in ServiceNow Domain Separation to support and manage a large Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ServiceNow platform management, specifically in handling domain-separation challenges within MSP environments. This role requires a strong focus on performance management, governance, and security to ensure a stable, scalable, and secure ServiceNow implementation.Key Responsibilities1. Domain Separation Management
- Design, implement, and manage domain-separation solutions in ServiceNow to support a multi-client MSP environment.
- Oversee the configuration of ServiceNow domains, ensuring compliance with best practices and client-specific requirements.
- Troubleshoot domain-specific issues and provide ongoing support for ServiceNow domain-separated instances.2. Performance Optimization
- Monitor and improve ServiceNow instance performance across multiple domains, identifying bottlenecks and optimizing workflows to ensure a high-performing platform.
- Leverage ServiceNow Performance Analytics and other tools to provide visibility into key metrics and proactively address performance issues.
- Work with stakeholders to set performance benchmarks and maintain system uptime and responsiveness.3. Governance and Compliance
- Develop and enforce governance policies to maintain data integrity, prevent data leakage, and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to define, document, and implement governance standards, including access controls, change management, and data privacy protocols.
- Establish a governance framework to ensure efficient management of client requests, updates, and ServiceNow instance enhancements.4. Security Management
- Implement security measures to protect client data across multiple domains, following industry best practices and ServiceNow security guidelines.
- Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability testing for the ServiceNow platform.
- Respond to and remediate security incidents, ensuring the protection of sensitive data in compliance with client and regulatory requirements.5. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
- Act as a primary point of contact for ServiceNow domain-separation inquiries, providing expert guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Partner with ServiceNow developers, administrators, and other IT teams to ensure cohesive management of the platform.
- Coordinate with client representatives to align ServiceNow capabilities with business needs and objectives, ensuring seamless service delivery.6. Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and enhancement within the ServiceNow platform.
- Stay current with ServiceNow updates, new features, and best practices, and recommend updates as appropriate for continuous improvement.
- Develop and lead training sessions for ServiceNow users and administrators within the MSP environment.Qualifications- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience with the ServiceNow platform, with a focus on domain separation in an MSP or complex enterprise environment.
- Extensive knowledge of ServiceNow modules and applications, including ITSM, ITOM, and CSM.
- Proven expertise in performance optimization, governance, and security management within ServiceNow.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR) and security best practices in IT environments.
- Experience working with multi-client MSP environments is strongly preferred.
- ServiceNow Certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist) are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
