Title : Servicenow Developer


Tier : Tier 3/ Senior Software Engineer




As a ServiceNow Developer your primary responsibility will be to manage and optimize the ServiceNow platform to support the organizations IT Asset Management ITAM with primarily working on implementation of SAM and HAM You will collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure the platform meets business needs and aligns with ITIL best practices

Roles Responsibilities

Creation implementation modification of ServiceNow SAM HAM components


Customize and configure ServiceNow SAM HAM Pro to meet specific organizational needs

Participation in at least two ServiceNow deployment projects specifically ITSM Asset Management and Hardware Asset Management HAM Software Asset Modules SAM

Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate SaaS applications with ServiceNow SAM Pro

Manage and oversee the entitlement upload process for in scope software publishers

Understand detailed requirements and own code from design implementation test automation and delivery of high quality solutions to our customers

Perform regular reconciliation of deployment details received from integration sources

Scripting JavaScript for different modules for writing Rules Updating creating workflows APIs etc



Qualifications



Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field

5 to 6 years of experience ServiceNow Developer with strong administration development and support skills on ServiceNow SAM HAM

ServiceNow certifications preferred CIS HAM CIS SAM and CSA certified

Strong understanding of ITSM processes and ITIL framework

Excellent problem solving and communication skills

Strong proficiency in JavaScript ServiceNow scripting and other relevant technologies

In depth knowledge of IT Asset Management processes and best practices

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and Application Developer certifications preferred

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and ITIL v3 or v4 Certification preferred



Preferred Skills



ServiceNow administration and development

Experience with ServiceNow SAM and HAM Implementation

Scripting languages such as JavaScript

ITIL best practices

Integration with third party tools

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
