Job Title: Service Owner - Cloud Delivery Team


Reports To: Head Infrastructure and Process Lead-Order


Role Type: Manager

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:


SKF has multiple cloud platforms, for example Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services, that SKF do own, develop and operate in-house. SKF have a cloud first approach for many years and driving projects to migrate on-prem to cloud. The cloud footprint is growing day by day. For operations of workloads hosted on the cloud platforms we have a multivendor approach, where a common cloud operating model is in place.



We have a Cloud Operations Team that takes care of support, incidents and requests for these platforms. The team is also involved in demands and projects. The Service Owner role is to lead this Cloud Operations Team as people manager and working on the outcome and delivery of the team to ensure Stable, Secure and Efficient IT Infrastructure for business




There are Cloud Platform Owners available that have the ownership of the platform and the main architectural role. The team have a lot of technical competence as well, so this role is important to have Cloud hands on knowledge to collaborate with Platform Owners and IT Vendors who are managing our cloud estates.



SKF have a very diverted landscape, global company with both central and local applications and stakeholders. This requires much communication and coordination between Vendors and internal Business Units, so excellent communication skills are required from this role.



Key Responsibilities


•Lead the delivery•


• Visionary Leader to grow Cloud Delivery towards more Stable, Secure and efficient infrastructure
• Support in preparing sprints, leading standups, and structuring the backlog together with the team.
• Ready to take on challenges to manage 24/7 internal/external teams to ensure Infrastructure Stability
• Coordinate ongoing activities within team and with vendors and partners.
• Work together with Platform Owners, Service Owners Engineering and collaborate to deliver complex demands and requests.
• Constantly looking to identify impediments early, actively working to resolve those impediments, and escalates when needed.
• Leading the team, managing conflict, and ensuring the team's processes and tasks are carried out efficiently.

• Develop the resources, look at how team members can grow
• Understand and be able to manage team members from multi culture context
• Build team spirit both globally within team, and with Tech Hub etc






•Supervise the Operation of the Platforms•


• Work closely with Service Owner, Platform Owners, Vendors and the team to ensure that the operations is done as expected and agreed.






•Communication & Documentation•


• Document and communicate solutions and decisions to wider audience (Regional IT & Business IT Managements)

Work together with Platform Owners and team to document and communicate solutions, governance, processes and features.

• Hands on experience in Azure and AWS (Amazon Web Services) cloud infrastructure
• Experience with information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks, Agile SCRUM




Technical skills/Personal




• A demonstrable track record managing & controlling an enterprise hybrid cloud estate or similar position within a globally focused business.
• Must be a proven self-starter operating with minimal supervision.
• Good business understanding and ability to communicate with senior leadership.
• Result-driven with persistence and consistency towards the solution of challenges
• Ability to manage multiple, sometimes competing priorities.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Leadership capabilities along with solid judgement and decision-making skills
• The ability to work under pressure and effectively prioritize workload.
• Very strong customer focus
• Proactive and able to resolve issues and recommend solutions to problems.
• Ability to work in collaborative manner with all Stakeholders including our business community.
• Cloud Architect & other cloud technology certification is a plus.
• Experience with IT Service Management (preferably a certification in ITIL)
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent reporting & analytic skills essential


We expect you to have



• BSC/B Tech degree or Master's in Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 15 years of experience working within the IT Infrastructure and IT Delivery management
• Experience working in a Global IT environment with multiple vendors
• Experience with Global IT Outsourcing and implementation
• Minimum 6-8 years of Experience in Cloud & Security Concepts and leading Cloud Infrastructure team
• Ability to constantly adapt, change and evolve
