We are looking for a Service Operations IP Lead to join our IP Search Team in Noida. This is a an opportunity to support Fortune 100 companies on various phases in IP Life cycle management. The team member will work on various projects such as Prior-art Searching (patentability/validity/invalidity), evidence-of-use, freedom-to-operate searches etc. in the Electronics, Electrical and Semiconductor domains. Our team consists of 15+ members reporting to Sr. Manager/ Director. We would love to speak with you if you have skills in any of the above-mentioned services and/or have aptitude to work on emerging technologies.

About you \xe2\x80\x93 Experience, education, skills, and accomplishments.

• Work experience: at least 8 years of experience in IP services.
• Master or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Electronics, Electrical, VLSI, Power Electronics or any related field.
• Thorough knowledge of basic electronics and electrical circuits.
• Proficient in performing invalidity, patentability, state of art, freedom to operate and evidence of use searches.
• Knowledge of Intellectual Property (IP) fundamentals and US Patent Law.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and other tools that may be required for day-to-day work.
• Capable of working on individual projects as well as in a team environment.
• Self-starter, meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

It would be great if you also have. . .

• PhD in Electronics, Electrical, VLSI, Power Electronics or any related field.
• IP and/or AI/ML related certifications.
• Knowledge of US, CN and EP patent laws.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Study an invention and conduct online searches to ascertain the novel aspect of the invention.
• Determine validity of a patent, includes studying patent prosecution history and patent infringement complaint document.
• Derive insights from patents and scientific literatures published in a technology domain of interest.
• Quality Assurance - Adherence and compliance to set quality standards ensuring customer requirement are met in full.
• Assist clients manage their patent portfolio and find solutions for the entire patent lifecycle.
• Mentor team members and prepare customized learning module for team members.
• Adhere to organizational policies.

About the team
Our team consists of 15+ members reporting to Sr. Manager/ Director. The team primarily works on search projects related to electronics, electrical, semiconductor and physics domains.

Hours of work
This is a full-time role requiring 40 working hours (excluding breaks) per week.
