Family Description



Customer Services (CS) covers customer service in different areas such as technical support, account support, operations, maintenance, network design / deployment / integration / transformation, and education. Generates revenue and the increase of customer satisfaction through planning, designing, deploying, integrating, optimising, operating, and maintaining phases.




Subfamily Description



Managed Services (MSE) is responsible for keeping the network running and proposing / conducting network upgrades based on business requirements. Covers technical managing and operating of agreed components of IT and telecommunications services provided to end users of Nokia customers, within contracts agreed with those customers.







Responsibilities for Internal Candidates







• For one of the key functions of Managed Services (MS) operations (Fault Management, Configuration Management, Performance Management, Security Management, OSS Management):



Specialized or broader knowledge of theory and principles within a professional discipline. Typically +4 years directly related experience and a graduate equivalent degree.

Experience of 4 to 5 years in Telecom on IP MPLS network of any Telecom Operator, IP Core Planning and Implementation for highly complex network.


• Compulsorily, Hands-on experience in NOC of IP MPLS network of any Telecom Operator
• IP Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CCDP, JNCIP etc. will be preferred
• A good understanding of IP & Ethernet Technologies including MPLS, Routing Protocols, BGP, IGP, ISIS, OSPF, VLAN, IP addressing, Mobility services running on IP MPLS network.
• Good knowledge & Experience of Cisco, Juniper, Nokia Routers
• Knowledge of Mobility and Enterprise Transport Network ,
• Experience of executing Planned Events / FM activities in IP-MPLS network , IOS upgrade of all OEMS -Cisco, Juniper, Nokia
• Experience on troubleshooting and implementation for L2 & L3 services using - VPLS / MP-BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VRRP, LDP, RSVP-TE, Multicast.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in Data and mobility Networks
• Checkpoint, Nexus, Catalyst, Cisco IOS, ASR IOS-XE, Juniper MX, EX,T4000 series platforms.

It would be nice if you also had:


• Exp. in preparing design guidelines, solution documents, processes & workflows Transport Network.
• New Feature Implementation & Transport related Trial/Demo.
• Sound knowledge on the Transport KPIs.
• Working knowledge of RAN products (SRAN BTS/WBTS/BSCs/RNCs) & their IP transport
• Problem-Solving Skill in Multi Domain & Multi-Vendor Transport Architecture


• For one of the key functions of Managed Services (MS) operations (Fault Management, Configuration Management, Performance Management, Security Management, OSS Management):



• Performs routine tasks within standardised procedures and practices with regular supervision to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. (EG diagnoses routine abnormalities within services delivered and manages their resolution, including through own actions or managing the process through others; routinely configures service delivery and / or service support (OSS) elements).



• Undertakes function through analysis of status or performance indicators / service configuration requirements and possible solutions, and for routine situations decides and performs a range of actions to resolve abnormalities / service configuration requirements through knowledge and technical experience.



• Supports technical and procedural improvements in same function for teams of Service Operators.



• Receives instruction, guidance and direction from others while using own knowledge and existing procedures to solve standard problems.


Impact



Accountable for quality and accuracy of own output. Errors may have limited impact on function/project/customer. Delivers own output according to specific operational targets.

Individual Contributor: Participates as individual contributor to team, usually in a support role or entry level professional. Semi - routine or standard tasks. Decision making limited to standard applications in own work. Managerial/Supervisory:

Knowledge & Experience
