A ServiceNow Tester plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of ServiceNow applications, thereby contributing to the overall success of IT service management initiatives within an organization. The role requires a combination of technical expertise, analytical skills, and effective communication to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and deliver high-quality testing solutions. 1. Execution of Test Cases: Execute test cases manually or using automated testing tools to verify the functionality, usability, performance, and security of ServiceNow applications.
2. Defect Management: Identify, report, prioritize, and track defects using defect tracking tools like JIRA or ServiceNow\'s own defect management module. Work closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues.
3. Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that new enhancements or bug fixes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
4. Integration Testing: Collaborate with integration teams to conduct integration testing of ServiceNow applications with other systems and applications within the organization\'s ecosystem.Primary Skills: Proven experience as a Software Tester with a focus on testing ServiceNow applications.
Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, modules, and functionalities.
Proficiency in developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Experience with both manual and automated testing methodologies and tools.
Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.Certifications: Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - ITSM or CIS - Developer, is a plus. CSA Certified Required
