About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced

Service Manager

to lead our automotive service operations in

Kattupakkam

. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background, exceptional customer service skills, and proven team leadership capabilities. You will be responsible for ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and efficient workshop operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily operations of the service department, including scheduling, workflow, and productivity. Lead and supervise a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff. Ensure timely and high-quality repairs and maintenance of vehicles. Monitor and achieve service department targets (revenue, profitability, customer satisfaction). Handle customer queries, complaints, and ensure top-notch service experience. Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts. Ensure adherence to OEM standards and company policies. Provide training, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members. Monitor KPIs such as turnaround time (TAT), repeat jobs, and first-time fix rate. Collaborate with the sales and parts departments for smooth inter-departmental coordination.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or related field. Minimum

6 years of experience

in automotive service operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of automobile service practices, diagnostics, and workshop management. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with DMS (Dealer Management System) and service software. Ability to manage pressure, resolve conflicts, and drive performance.
