Overview:

RACE is building and deploying India's most advanced battery-swapping infrastructure for use in 3-wheelers and 2-wheelers. We are a deep-tech start-up building and pushing the boundaries of battery-swapping technology. RACE was founded in Hyderabad in 2018 by two BITSian alumni with the intention of accelerating the electric vehicle adoption in India.

Job Purpose:

The Service Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of services to our valued customers. As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of service technicians, managing service contracts and ensuring that all customer requests are handled promptly and effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of service technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Develop and implement strategies and process to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our service operations.
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
• Create and manage service contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed upon terms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new service offerings
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our service offerings
• Provide regular reports on service performance to senior management
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team towards achieving goals
• Analyse and implement cost optimisation for service and maintenance.
• Collaboratively work with cross functional teams to stabilize and solve customer escalations.

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in business, administration, or related field.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent leadership, sales and customer service skills
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role as a Service Manager or equivalent
• Experience in EV industry is a added advantage
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
• Ability to manage large team and expand business in multiple cities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
