IT Technology Senior Specialist - Service Execution Owner for Incident Management - Quality and Process Improvement as part of SAP Enterprise Cloud Services Delivery - Technical Operations As part of Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS), ECS Delivery (formerly HANA Enterprise Cloud Delivery) is responsible for running customer landscapes around the globe in a 24x7 operations model. We manage wide variety of business-critical SAP systems and applications in a global delivery model. We are responsible to build and operate customer systems for ECS Within ECS Delivery, Technical Operations is responsible for successful provisioning and operating of managed cloud systems for our customers, ensuring good quality of delivery, lower TCO and adherence to customer SLAs. For the Delivery Center in Bangalore, India, we are looking for an IT Technology Sr. Specialist with a strong technical background to act as a Service Execution Owner with focus on Quality Management and driving continuous process improvement.
The Role As an IT Technology Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for:
  • Ensure continuous improvement of Incident Management Service area by defining relevant quality related KPIs and measurement mechanisms
  • Track service delivery quality and take steps for continuous improvement in the service area
  • Define and track improvement initiatives using Jira / Kanban and report tangible changes
  • Coordinate with internal SAP teams / roles as needed to ensure improvement in service delivery quality
  • Provide transparency about service delivery to management and work together to resolve impediments
  • Own and execute on the Continuous Improvement Process framework for Incident Management

Role Requirements
You will need to be
  • BE / B.Tech / MCA from a well reputed institute
  • Certified or have relevant work experience in agile project management in a cloud environment
  • Continuous Improvement Expert / Specialist at SAP with good knowledge of working with A3 methodology, PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle and 5-Why / Ishikawa / Fish Bone techniques
  • SAP NetWeaver Certified Technology Consultant/ SAP HANA Certified and / or Hyperscaler certified (AWS / Azure / GCP) (Optional)
  • ITIL Foundation certified
  • Project member in a large environment and able to work effectively in big and virtual teams
  • Customer centric
  • Continuous learner and faster adopter of new technology / process
  • Analytical and solution-oriented thinker
  • Expert grade communicator, presenter with good networking skills
  • Willing to work during APJ / EMEA working hours

We are looking for someone who has
  • 8+ years of work experience in project management and quality management including managing of projects / initiatives in an agile environment using Jira / Kanban infrastructure
  • The primary skill / competence needed is service delivery process management along with quality management
  • Working knowledge in UNIX/Linux environment, HANA DB and Sybase ASE databases will be preferred.
  • Basic Knowledge in Network and Storage is desired.
