What will you be responsible for?

As a SA Service Engineer, you will be contributing to deployment, upgrade and support of the enterprise and facility infrastructure. Examples of the duties and responsibilities included, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Implementation of maintenance processes that ensure the continued stability and performance of the hospital\'s IT infrastructure.
  • Specific tools associated with this administration include:
  • VmWare VSphere
  • Microsoft Configuration Manager - SCCM
  • And:
  • Microsoft PowerShell
  • SolarWinds
  • Good to have tools understanding includes:
  • HPE Oneview
  • HPE iLO
  • CommVault CommCell
  • Symantec Antivirus (Symantec for End Points)
  • StruxureWare
  • VPM Visual Power Manager
What would your day look like?

System administrator skills:
  • Experience in heterogeneous systems is preferred, including Windows Server, VMWare, Unix/AIX, Linux. Experience with Windows Server will be 70% and VMWare, Unix/AIX, Linus another 30%
  • Well-founded knowledge of systems administration concepts is required, including security, management, deployment, and maintenance of diverse operating system platforms.
Support Operations
  • OS Administration
  • Patch failure troubleshooting - Win/Linux
  • Vulnerability Remediation - Coordination between Customers & Vendors - Applications monitoring to be up-to-date with latest patches
  • Tier 2 Support - L1 & L2
Monitoring
  • Centralized Dashboard
  • Alert logs
Analysis and Reporting
  • Proactive Trend and Log Analysis
  • Root Cause Analysis
ITIL Service Operations:
  • Change/Event/Incident/Problem Management
  • Request Fulfillment
Proven skills to provide technical, project and professional leadership of a technical team of BTOC Analysts.
  • Proven skills in serving in the role of an escalation contact for a technical operations team. Proven skills in both verbal and written communication.
  • Proven skills in the developing and maintaining successful relationships with third-party application and hardware vendors.
  • Proven skills with the compliance of ITIL, ITSM, and HiTrust standards.
Who are we looking for?
  • 0-3 years\' experience with system admin activities in 24x7 environment.
  • College degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education preferred.
  • Industry recognized certification in I.T. Systems Administration. Extensive and proven experience may be substituted for certification where appropriate.
