Job Title: Service Engineer

Reports To: Plant Manager/Engineering Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer to join our lead battery manufacturing plant. The Service Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing plant machinery and equipment to ensure efficient production and minimal downtime. This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and Repair:
• Perform routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including lead battery production machinery, conveyors, mixers, and other related equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize production downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Installation and Commissioning:
• Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.
• Ensure proper setup and calibration of machinery to meet production specifications and safety standards.
• Technical Support:
• Provide technical support and guidance to production staff and operators to resolve equipment-related issues.
• Train and educate plant personnel on proper equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and spare parts inventory.
• Generate detailed reports on equipment performance, maintenance activities, and downtime analysis.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Comply with environmental and regulatory standards related to lead battery manufacturing and disposal.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement in equipment maintenance and operation.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement innovative solutions and best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
