Job Title: Service Engineer - Medical Equipment / Laboratory Diagnostic Job Location: North East Region (Only North East Candidates can apply) Experience: 3 - 5 years in the service of Medical / Diagnostic equipment Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree / Diploma in engineering (Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field) Salary: 3 - 6 LPA Job Overview: As a Service Engineer specializing in diagnostic machines, your role is pivotal in ensuring the functionality and reliability of our equipment. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of diagnostic machines. This position involves working closely with healthcare facilities, distributors, and internal teams to provide technical support and ensure optimal machine performance. Key Responsibilities: Installation and Maintenance: Set up and maintain diagnostic machines at healthcare facilities, ensuring efficient operation and adherence to performance standards. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and promptly resolve technical issues, both on-site and remotely, to minimize machine downtime. Repairs: Perform repairs and component replacements when necessary, using technical manuals, diagnostic tools, and spare parts to restore equipment functionality. Preventive Maintenance: Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to proactively identify and address potential issues, preventing breakdowns and disruptions. Training: Provide training and technical support to healthcare staff and clients on proper machine use and maintenance. Documentation: Maintain accurate service records, reports, and logs, including machine histories and spare parts inventory. Customer Support: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to address service inquiries, offer technical guidance, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Quality Assurance: Adhere to regulatory and quality assurance standards, ensuring compliance with safety and performance requirements for all diagnostic machines. Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Proven service engineer experience, preferably in the medical field and with diagnostic machines. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
