Experiences such as abstracted hybrid provisioning, intelligent manageability, telemetry, advanced security, and OS management, and implementing modern technologies for network, and hosting infrastructure. Being part of IES, the ideal candidate will own delivering cutting-edge infrastructure services for this large portfolio which includes understanding and delivering against customer-led scenarios ranging from providing modern devices connectivity for global sites, adopting cloud capabilities, Infrastructure compliance, stability, and reliability initiatives and more.We are looking for an enthusiastic Service Engineers to help us evolve our product mindset, drive a growth-mindset culture, and deliver industry-leading results.Network Defense leads security standards, policies, vulnerability management, and compliance of network infrastructure. We define standards, detect and surface security gaps, and publish self-service guidance and toolkits. Modernization is a high priority and we strive for adoption of native Azure solutions and to reimagine security integration with AI, automation, and code development. We look first for ways to automate and optimize then drive outcomes back into preventative solutions. The team is motivated every day to lead our space with a world view and we aspire to create solutions that will influence the industry and are sharable with Microsoft Enterprise customers.Responsibilities:ResponsibilitiesAs a security focused Software Engineer you will solve challenging problems through innovative end-to-end solutions while showcasing the team\xe2\x80\x99s achievements both internally and externally giving you opportunities to influence the industry. You will work closely with other cloud and physical network infrastructure security experts across Microsoft to envision then build solutions to automate or provide self service capabilities to investigate threats, coordinate response and remediation, improve and automate processes, and contribute your experience and expertise to enhance the security of our hybrid network environment. You will also partner with Azure product groups by providing requirements, pilot new features, and increase Azure adoption through modernizing our solutions.Qualifications:Qualifications:Required Qualifications:Qualifications

• 5+ years of Software development experience preferably in a networking and/or distributed systems environment
• BS or MS or PhD degree in Computer Science or equivalent experiences
• Self-motivated and results-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Passion and drive for profound impact
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams to drive architectural changes that improve the stability and security of each environment.

Preferred, not required:A well-qualified candidate will meet one or more of the following criteria:

• Experience working in cyber security
• Domain knowledge in network infrastructure (cloud and/or on premise).
• Experience building Azure-based services with Azure Sentinel, Azure policy, KeyVault, Azure Security Center Azure Log Analytics or similar products like ArcSight, Splunk and Logstash.
• Experience building a community and sharing blog posts, technical write-ups, articles etc.
• Experience with developer environment tools like Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Agile Scrum.
