The ES365 (Microsoft 365 Engineering Systems) team owns the services/infrastructure that make up the end-to-end developer experience in Office from source control and check-in experience to build, testing, security, compliance, and deployment automation, and we\xe2\x80\x99re making big, bold changes \xe2\x80\x93 for the better! We\xe2\x80\x99re making it easy to build and ship apps across platforms and endpoints, embracing a \xe2\x80\x9cone Microsoft\xe2\x80\x9d philosophy, open source, and industry standard tools. We are a data driven team building on insights from developer signals to enhance developer experience and in turn end-customers achieve more!. (We serve tens of thousands of Office developers internally and Millions of office customers externally. We deal with petabytes of data and trillions of datasets every day.)

Responsibilities:

• Implement and deliver high-quality engineering support services and execute robust operational workflows in support of Office services.
• Collaborate across the Office organization to define extensible and sustainable service solutions that meet the needs of a diverse set of engineering and product teams.
• Exercise a Cloud-first mindset in the creation of new operational workflows as well as identifying opportunities to upgrade existing workflows to be Cloud-capable.
• Contribute to service transparency, reliability, and accountability via structured service reviews, using stakeholder and customer input to define service level agreements and uptime promises.
• Be committed to delivering the best experience for our customers.
• Help create a diverse and inclusive culture where everyone can bring their full and authentic self and where we do our best work as a result.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 operational experience supporting customers.
• Detail-oriented, customer-focused approach to root causing issues, data analysis, problem solving, and debugging.
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
• Excellent debugging, testing, problem solving, and scripting skills in any language.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working across disciplines, groups, and teams.
• Experience coding in C#, PowerShell.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and/or AWS CodePipelines
• Passion for driving, improving, and helping to implement security and business continuity solutions.
