Position: Service Engineer - Forklift
Department: Technical Services
Reports To: Service Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing forklifts. This role requires a thorough understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, along with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and servicing of forklifts, including inspections, oil changes, and tire rotations.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in forklifts.
• Maintain detailed service records and reports for each job performed.
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide timely solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines during service and repair activities.
• Manage inventory of parts and tools required for service and repair tasks.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and service techniques.
• Provide training and support to junior technicians as needed.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in servicing and repairing forklifts or similar equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites as required.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with various brands and models of forklifts.
• Certification in forklift maintenance and repair.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
