Working as part of the Infrastructure & Cloud organisation, the Service Effectiveness Senior Manager has oversight of the department service effectiveness bringing thought leadership in quality and compliance, risk and control and has a strong focus on overall service performance monitoring, reporting, and service evolution. Liaises with key representatives from both internal and external teams to the department and ensures it follows standard methodologies across our organisation.Looking for someone with a passion for quality and effectiveness of services in an IT organisation!Key responsibilities:

  • Develop a horizontal structure to enable the Service Owners to better manage their services:
  • Ensure full quality and compliance within the department by liaising with existing internal and external teams
  • Implement standard methodologies of managing and monitoring the teams risks and liaise with external resources for any mitigations and controls.
  • Create a simple, robust, and complete mechanism to unify the departments performance monitoring, reporting and overall view of the service evolution.
  • Represent the department in any audit sessions and collaborate with the internal structures to prepare and mitigate any findings.
  • Implement a robust approach in supporting all Service Owners to achieve data quality
  • Lead the internal BCP/DRP creation, update and testing activities
  • Contribute with key insights on service evolution that can enable more efficient capacity management and service improvement initiatives
  • Drive and coordinate frequent infrastructure and service related internal hygiene activities to achieve compliance of our department and reduce risks
  • Review constantly the department training compliance and drive adherence
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with internal customers, senior management, vendors, and peers across the globe.
  • Understand the impact of new technologies, changes into our service offering and take proactive measures to ensure future compliance and adjustment of reporting and effectiveness measuring methods
  • Strong collaboration with all 3rd party Suppliers for them to adhere to the same effectiveness goals as internal teams
  • Decrease overhead time from our internal teams and offer a constant simplified interaction (demand)
  • Champion and deliver an agile and DevOps delivery methodology and a continuous improvement framework to drive efficiency and enable business agility.
  • Manage and elevate relationships with key suppliers, setting performance standards and leading the resolution of issues.
  • Lead or provide input to Monthly Reports, Budget, Business Cases, Service Level agreements and Vendor performance.
Minimum Requirements
  • Significant experience of engineering and/or operations in User and Enterprise services space
  • This is a People Manager role, leading a distributed team
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics / Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Financial Services preferred
  • Significant people management and multi-group management experience
