Assess the impact of changes to systems, applications and infrastructure to determine requirements. Configure and solve - DHCP, DNS, various network devices and services. This is a hands-on role where significant participation and escalated support activities are expected including highly technical problem solving and Supporting day-day operations of Server environment. Which includes proactive monitoring and management of the systems and utilize available monitoring tools. Escalate Issues to software vendor specific for Technical Support.\xef\x82\xa7To ensure success as a desktop support engineer, you should have extensive knowledge of home and office systems, good problem-solving skills, and high-level interpersonal skills. \xef\x82\xa7A top-class desktop support engineer provides fast and effective support for clients experiencing basic hardware and software issues.\xef\x82\xa7An ideal candidate should be: Proficient in working with high availability environment along with alignment to process (ITIL) Love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies Ambitious individual who can work under own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work Intuitive with an ability to manage change and proven time management Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Up-to-date in technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications \xef\x82\xa7Advanced knowledge of computer hardware systems, chipsets, memory modules, and peripherals.\xef\x82\xa7Knowledge of popular operating systems, software applications, and remote connection systems.\xef\x82\xa7Ability to solve complex hardware and software issues.\xef\x82\xa7Ability to travel and work after hours when necessary.\xef\x82\xa7Excellent interpersonal skills.\xef\x82\xa7Good written and verbal communication skills.\xef\x82\xa7Responding to client support requests.\xef\x82\xa7Contacting clients to find out the nature of the problem.\xef\x82\xa7Traveling to the client\'s location or connecting via a remote link.\xef\x82\xa7Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.\xef\x82\xa7Installing and maintaining hardware and computer peripherals.\xef\x82\xa7Installing and upgrading operating systems and computer software.\xef\x82\xa7Troubleshooting networking and connection issues.\xef\x82\xa7Advising on software or hardware upgrades.\xef\x82\xa7Providing basic training in computer operation and management.oQualification\xef\x82\xa7Bachelor\'s degree in computer science or information technology\xef\x82\xa7Specialization Desired Candidate Profile MUST - HAVES: Top 3 Mandatory Skills: Good communication skills, Good Understanding of Windows \xef\x82\xa7Minimum Relevant Experience: 0-3 Years \xef\x82\xa7Joining time / Notice Period: Immediate joining \xef\x82\xa7Shift Timings: Rotational (working from Bangalore office)3 must havesService desk 4/5Windows Installation / Troubleshooting 4/5ITIL 3/5
