The desired candidate will be a vital part of the Global IT team with a proven track record of designing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving to address challenges and opportunities within the Service Cloud/Community Cloud Salesforce domain. The candidate will be responsible for working with business and IT leads for testing. S/he is expected to understand the cross-business requirements that form a product or solution. A person who is passionate about improving business processes, and helping our business partners envision the future and how we enable it. This person will be responsible for the quality of system deliverables and end to end testing (through all phases of development lifecycle) as well as support testing automation (enabling test scripts for automation). The candidate will support the overall QA workstream consisting of both manual and automated testing. Basic Requirements Basic Qualifications Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related Experience: 2 to 3 years of professional work experience in IT with 2 years of Automation experience preferred Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations: Experienced with functional testing, possess good automation testing skills, and takes ownership of items independently while tracking to closure Hands on testing that includes analyzing requirements, preparing test plans and building appropriate test cases to validate the functionality being built Define and execute testing needed based on requirements (including: Unit testing, Smoke Testing, Regression Testing, System Integration Test, User Acceptance Test, End to End Testing, Load testing, Security testing, Performance testing etc.) Ensuring SIT, UAT, Production test data (test users/accounts - entitled/non-entitled and associated test data) is available to execute test plans Capturing defects in JIRA (or applicable solution system), re-testing, defect triage, regression testing and test sign off Designing, developing, and executing test automation scripts using test automation guidelines. Proficient with test automation tools, technologies, and knowledge of code logic to support the tools and tests Work closely with the Automation team, automate regression suite ensuring comprehensive test coverage Release management plan with appropriate version history that will make sure test execution for all modification in that release (including backup of test data and restore strategy) Ability to facilitate testing sessions across all teams in tandem with Project Manager/Scrum Master/Project Leads/QA Lead Preparing walk-through for test design and procedure (coordinate/execute end-to-end testing), the status report of testing activities (test coverage, defect densities, and open defect counts, to gain and share insights about quality issues) including pre/post test meetings Ensuring that the test plan is complete and list all risks with contingency plans. Collaborate effectively with both business and IT partners across all functions through prioritization cadences to meet commitments. Work through issues and challenges to complete tasks on time. Behavioral Characteristics/Skills: Comfortable with coding in Java or any other programming languages Experienced in any one of test automation, including but not limited to: Selenium WebDriver, UFT, JMeter, Provar, etc. Foundational understanding of SQL and databases Exposure to CI tools (Jenkins, Bit Bucket, Bamboo) Self-starter with great analytical skills, attention to detail, proactive, a sense of ownership, urgency, and a passion for continuous learning Passionate about customer satisfaction and learning about the business Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to communicate to a wide variety of audiences, both business and technical at functional and executive levels
