The Service Advisor Trainee position is designed to train individuals to become experts in providing excellent customer service while assisting in vehicle service management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:
• Greet customers promptly and courteously when they arrive at the service center.
• Listen actively to customers' vehicle-related concerns and service needs.
• Provide basic information regarding the service processes, repair costs, and maintenance packages.
• Service Consultation:
• Assist customers in understanding the importance of regular vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Provide service recommendations based on initial diagnostics and customer concerns.
• Document customer complaints and vehicle issues accurately in the service management system.
• Service Appointment Management:
• Help schedule service appointments according to customer convenience.
• Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely completion of vehicle services.
• Update customers on the status of their vehicle, including any delays or additional work needed.
• Technical Understanding:
• Assist with basic vehicle inspections and troubleshooting under the supervision of senior advisors and technicians.
• Learn about Maruti Suzuki Arena vehicles, their specifications, and typical maintenance schedules.
• Understand the diagnostic tools and equipment used in the service department.
• Billing & Documentation:
• Assist with preparing job cards, invoices, and warranty documentation.
• Ensure that all service records are accurately updated in the customer database.
• Support the team in processing warranty claims, spare parts requests, and other related paperwork.
• Customer Follow-Up:
• Ensure customer satisfaction by following up post-service to gather feedback.
• Address customer concerns, providing timely and effective solutions or escalating issues when necessary.
• Encourage customers to leave reviews or ratings about the service experience.
• Training and Development:
• Participate in training programs to enhance product knowledge, service skills, and customer handling techniques.
• Work under the mentorship of experienced service advisors to develop expertise in vehicle servicing and customer communication.
• Continuously improve knowledge of Maruti Suzuki service standards and the Arena model-specific offerings.
• Maintaining Service Standards:
• Ensure that the service department operates in line with Maijo Moto's standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
• Help ensure the timely and accurate completion of all jobs as per customer expectations.
• Assist in managing inventory for spare parts, keeping track of stock levels.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• A graduate or diploma holder in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• Freshers or individuals with up to 1-2 years of experience in the automobile service industry are welcome to apply.
• Skills and Abilities:
• Basic knowledge of vehicle servicing, automobile mechanics, and diagnostics.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers.
• Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and manage customer expectations.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and willingness to learn service-related software.
• Familiarity with Maruti Suzuki vehicles and Arena-specific services is an advantage (training will be provided).
