Our team has a requirement with one of our prestigious clients for the role of Server Administrator L2.
Location- Worli, Mumbai
Server Administrator is responsible for managing both servers and networks to ensure their smooth functioning.
Required to configure, manage, and implement operating systems.
In charge of backups and retrieval of resources.
Responsible to maintain system accounts through Active Directory.

Design and deploy secure server processes.
Create a database of the organization\'s IT policies and document them and help train staff on the use of new technologies.
Group Policy design and configuration, AD User creation, access right management,

Requirements

Have hands on experience on configuring / managing/installation/troubleshooting experience in roles listed below:-
1. Configured & Managed Active Directory / Domain Services, domain controller to centrally manage, authenticate, and authorize users, groups, and computers on the network.
2. Deployed & Managed group policy - group policy processing; group policy management console, computer policies, user policies & local policies deployment
3. Configured & Managed Application servers, database servers MS SQL 2019 & below DB and Oracle
4. Configured & Managed DHCP / DNS Server to provide IP addresses / host name to IP address/ name resolution for local domains and other settings to all computers in domain centrally & local location DHCP / DNS servers
5. Configured & Managed File Server and Storage Services for local sharing file server
6. Managed Backup, Replication and Recovery of Windows servers on tools like VEEAM
7. Managed & Configured Storage, skills for the understanding Storage portion, storage types, EMC NAS Storage, SAN Switches.
8. Configured & Managed RAID., skills on disk types, mount points, file systems, mounting a virtual hard disk, distributed file systems & optical disks
9. Configured & Managed Hyper-V for Server Virtualization to host and manage VMs
10. Configured & Managed Network Policy and Access Services support RADIUS authentication, routing, and remote access through Global Protect VPN.
11. Configured & Managed Print and Document Services for Canon printers printing and scanning services.
12. Configured & Managed Windows Server Update Services server to deploy regular security and bug fixes to end points through WSUS
13. Configured & managed Windows Admin Center to manage the server with a set of tools including Certificates, Devices, Events, Processes, Roles and Features, Updates, Virtual Machines
14. Good understanding of logs and alerts & corrective actions on logs, alert for performance improvement
