Job Title: SEO Specialist (On-Page)

Job Summary: The SEO Specialist (On-Page) will be responsible for improving the search engine ranking and visibility of our website(s) by optimizing on-page factors. This role will work closely with the content, web development, and marketing teams to implement SEO best practices and drive organic traffic growth. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in on-page SEO techniques, keyword research, and data-driven analysis to ensure that all content is fully optimized for search engines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive on-page SEO audits to identify areas of improvement and provide actionable recommendations for optimization.
• Optimize website content, including meta tags (titles, descriptions), headers, URLs, and internal linking structures to improve search visibility.
• Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-opportunity keywords and map them to relevant pages across the site.
• Collaborate with content writers and developers to ensure that SEO best practices are incorporated into new and existing web content.
• Ensure that all web pages follow Google's Webmaster Guidelines and other search engine best practices.
• Implement schema markup and structured data to enhance search results and improve click-through rates.
• Monitor and improve page load speeds, mobile optimization, and overall user experience for better search rankings.
• Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz to monitor SEO performance, analyze traffic trends, and identify issues.
• Regularly track and report on website ranking improvements, traffic patterns, and key SEO metrics.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest search engine algorithms, updates, and best practices to ensure compliance and maintain rankings.
• Conduct competitor analysis to identify gaps in our SEO strategy and uncover new opportunities.
• Collaborate with technical SEO and off-page SEO teams to develop a comprehensive SEO strategy that covers all aspects of search optimization.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of proven experience as an SEO specialist with a strong focus on on-page optimization.
• Thorough understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
• Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website architecture from an SEO perspective.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Shopify, or similar platforms.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Experience with keyword research, SERP analysis, and competitive analysis.
• Knowledge of schema markup and structured data implementation.
• Familiarity with website speed optimization techniques (PageSpeed Insights, Core Web Vitals).
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
• Familiarity with content marketing strategies and how they integrate with SEO.
• Basic understanding of off-page SEO tactics like link building.
• Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or other data analysis tools.
