Position Title: SEO Executive
Department: Digital Marketing
Reports To: SEO Manager/Digital Marketing Manager
Location: Yatharth Group of Institution , Siwan (Bihar)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and results-driven SEO Executive to join our digital marketing team. The SEO Executive will be responsible for optimizing our website and content to improve organic search rankings, drive traffic, and increase online visibility. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of search engine algorithms, and the ability to stay up-to-date with SEO trends to ensure our digital presence remains competitive.

Key Responsibilities:

• On-Page SEO Optimization:
• Conduct keyword research to identify target keywords and optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and images.
• Optimize web pages for on-page SEO, including improving site architecture, content structure, and internal linking to enhance SEO performance.
• Implement strategies for improving page load speed and mobile responsiveness to ensure a better user experience and higher rankings.
• Off-Page SEO and Link Building:
• Develop and implement link-building strategies to increase the website's domain authority and improve search engine rankings.
• Identify and collaborate with relevant websites and influencers for guest posting and backlinking opportunities.
• Monitor and evaluate link-building campaigns to ensure effectiveness and quality of links.
• SEO Audits and Analysis:
• Conduct regular SEO audits to identify areas for improvement in both on-page and off-page SEO.
• Analyze competitor websites and SEO strategies to identify opportunities and areas of improvement for our site.
• Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar to track SEO performance, traffic, rankings, and conversion metrics.
• Content Strategy and Optimization:
• Collaborate with the content team to develop and implement SEO-focused content strategies that improve organic search visibility and user engagement.
• Ensure that all content, including blog posts, articles, product pages, and landing pages, is optimized for relevant keywords.
• Write or edit SEO-friendly content where necessary to ensure it aligns with best practices for search engines.
• Monitoring and Reporting:
• Monitor and report on key SEO performance metrics (organic traffic, keyword rankings, backlinks, etc.) to track the success of SEO initiatives.
• Prepare detailed monthly reports for internal stakeholders, outlining the performance of SEO campaigns and identifying opportunities for optimization.
• Stay informed of SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to keep strategies up-to-date.
• Technical SEO:
• Assist in identifying and resolving technical SEO issues related to crawling, indexing, and site structure (e.g., URL structure, redirects, sitemap, robots.txt).
• Work with developers to implement structured data (Schema Markup) and other technical elements to improve search engine visibility.
• Optimize website for mobile-first indexing and ensure it is fully responsive across different devices.
• Local SEO (if applicable):
• Optimize and manage Google My Business (GMB) listings and local citations to improve local search visibility.
• Work on building local backlinks and content that specifically targets regional audiences.
• Stay Updated with SEO Trends:
• Continuously research and stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, tools, and algorithm updates from search engines (Google, Bing, etc.).
• Apply new techniques and strategies to maintain a competitive edge in SEO performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience: 1-2 years of hands-on experience in SEO, digital marketing, or content marketing.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of SEO principles, techniques, and best practices.
• Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
• Knowledge of keyword research, on-page SEO, link building, and content marketing strategies.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and website structure to assist in implementing technical SEO changes.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting reports.
• Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and optimize strategies based on performance metrics.
• Understanding of Google algorithms and SEO ranking factors.
