Position Overview:
The SEO Executive will be responsible for managing SEO projects for our clients from start to finish. This role requires a proactive and motivated individual who can handle end-to-end responsibilities, including client communication, reporting, and task management. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing effective SEO strategies to boost organic search rankings, website traffic, and overall online presence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Client Project Management: Lead client SEO projects with complete ownership, ensuring clear and consistent communication, detailed reporting, and execution of tasks in line with client objectives.
• Website Analysis: Perform comprehensive technical audits, including site analysis and detailed reports covering on-page and off-page SEO factors.
• On-Page SEO Expertise: Optimize web pages using best practices, including meta tags (title, description, keywords), alt tags, anchor text, image optimization, HTML validation, and more.
• Backlink Strategy: Develop and implement high-quality backlink strategies using ethical SEO techniques, including guest blogging, skyscraper techniques, relationship-based link building, and .edu/.gov link acquisition.
• Keyword Research & Optimization: Perform keyword research to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities; ensure content is SEO-friendly with optimal keyword density, prominence, and proximity.
• Content Collaboration: Provide recommendations and execute content development strategies to align with SEO goals; work closely with the content team to ensure content meets SEO standards.
• SEO Reporting & Monitoring: Utilize Google Analytics, internal reporting tools, and popular keyword tools to track performance; create detailed, actionable SEO reports for clients.
• Technical SEO Proficiency: Analyze site architecture, HTML, and CSS to identify and implement necessary technical improvements for SEO.
• Link Building & Outreach: Engage in advanced link-building techniques such as guest posting, broken link building, press release distribution, HARO outreach, and more.
• Market Research & Industry Engagement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, participate in market research discussions, online forums, and leverage content marketing platforms effectively.
• SEO Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve SEO and ranking-related issues efficiently to maintain client satisfaction and performance.
Qualifications:
• 2-3 years of proven SEO experience with exceptional results in keyword ranking and website optimization.
• Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Ubersuggest, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar.
• Strong command of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for creating reports and presentations.
• Experience with CMS platforms and building/administering content in CMS environments.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and SEO plugins.
• Advanced link-building skills (e.g., guest blogging, skyscraper technique, relationship-based link building, .edu and .gov link building, broken link building).
• Strong communication skills--able to articulate strategies, results, and recommendations clearly to clients and team members.
• A proactive approach to SEO, staying ahead of industry trends and algorithm changes.
• Ability to track and analyze web traffic and SEO performance metrics efficiently.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with content marketing platforms and outreach through social media and email.
• Awareness of the market research industry and its dynamics.
• Familiarity with SEO-related tools like WordTracker, Keyword Discovery, and other keyword research platforms.
