About The Role -
We are seeking a dedicated Search Engine Optimization Specialist, who will be responsible for keyword research, SEO audits, link building, web analytics, and on-page SEO. The role involves optimizing websites to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct Keyword Research: Identify and analyze target keywords to inform content strategy and SEO initiatives.
• Perform SEO Audits: Execute comprehensive site audits to evaluate SEO performance, usability, and technical aspects.
• Optimize On-Page Elements: Enhance website content, meta tags, headings, and images to improve search engine rankings.
• Develop Link-Building Strategies: Create and implement effective link-building campaigns to increase domain authority and traffic.
• Monitor and Analyse Performance: Utilize web analytics tools to track organic traffic, conversion rates, and other key performance indicators.
• Stay Updated on SEO Trends: Keep abreast of industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to adapt strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with Content Teams: Work closely with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into content development.
• Generate Reports: Prepare regular reports on SEO performance and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot SEO Issues: Identify and resolve any technical SEO issues, including crawl errors, broken links, and page speed concerns.
• Educate and Train Team Members: Provide guidance and training on SEO practices to enhance the overall digital marketing efforts of the team.
Must Have Skills -
• Keyword Research: Proficient in identifying high-value keywords to drive organic traffic
• SEO Audits: Experienced in conducting comprehensive audits to assess website performance and identify improvement opportunities
• On-Page SEO: Skilled in optimizing web pages for search engines, including content, meta tags, and user experience
• Link Building: Knowledgeable in effective link-building strategies to enhance domain authority
• Web Analytics: Proficient in using analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush) to track performance and derive insights
• SEO Tools: Familiar with a variety of SEO tools (e.g., SEMRush, Ahrefs, Moz) for keyword tracking, competitor analysis, and site audits
Digital Marketing Expertise -
Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing to ensure strategies are relevant and effective.
Analytical Skills -
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret data and optimize strategies accordingly.
Communication and Collaboration -
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Qualification & Other Details -
• Graduation
• 2+ years' experience of SEO (ecommerce brands preferably)
