As a Verification AE, you will identify and qualify engagements based on customers\' needs and business opportunities, define Simulation or VIP evaluations and benchmark criteria, execute relevant technical campaigns to meet established goals considering customers\' production flows, provide best-in-class support, and work with account managers to determine the sales execution strategy. You will ensure both the customers\' success and the broader use of Siemens EDA\'s solutions. Our application engineering team is a creative, dynamic, and highly productive small team environment.Preferred work location is Bangalore. This position can entail as much as 20% travel.Job Responsibilities:\xc2\xb7 The primary purpose is to work with sales and field technical team members to help lead, define, and implement the technical engagements that support sales campaigns.\xc2\xb7 Provide technical leadership on all aspects of sales campaigns. Contribute and execute pre-sales and post-sales account strategies as a member of the sales team.\xc2\xb7 Qualify the technical viability of sales opportunities and communicate them to the sales team.\xc2\xb7 Deliver Siemens EDA Design and Verification portfolio presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers and effectively communicate the value proposition of Siemens EDA solutions to them\xc2\xb7 Bring up Simulation and Integrate VIP in customer testbench or guide them to do so themselves.\xc2\xb7 Proactively share account, evaluation, competitor, technology, and other helpful information with peers, sales teams, management, and product divisions to help us compete more effectively.\xc2\xb7 Develop and maintain ongoing positive relationships with customers.\xc2\xb7 Ensure customers receive timely, effective support\xc2\xb7 Influence marketing and product groups to meet customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs and shape product direction.\xc2\xb7 Work collaboratively with team members to ensure mutual success.Job Qualifications:\xc2\xb7 The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:\xc2\xb7 BE in Electronics or Computer Engineering or equivalent with 7+ years of work experience in semiconductor or EDA OR Masters in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of work experience in semiconductor or EDA\xc2\xb7 You\xe2\x80\x99ve solid understanding on VHDL/Verilog, SystemVerilog and UVM.\xc2\xb7 Well versed with Simulation/Verification using directed tests, constraint random testing, assertions and coverage driven verification methods.\xc2\xb7 Strong working knowledge in EDA tools like Mentor Graphics\xe2\x80\x99 ModelSim, Questa, VCS, NC-Sim, IUS, Visualizer, Verdi tools.\xc2\xb7 In depth knowledge of RTL & Gate Level (GLS) verification and debug.\xc2\xb7 Having experience in Low power verification techniques using UPF would be a plus.\xc2\xb7 Protocol Knowledge and verification of one or more of AMBA, Ethernet, HDMI, USB, PCIe, DDRx, MIPI etc. would be a plus.\xc2\xb7 Excellent presentation skills and verbal/written communication skills\xc2\xb7 Strong project management skills and the ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasksWe are SiemensA collection of over 377,000 minds building the future, one day at a time in over 200 countries.
