About The Job Job Title: Senior Wordpress developer Location: Pune Responsibilities: Designing and developing custom WordPress themes and plugins according to client requirements. Implementing responsive and user-friendly designs, ensuring consistent performance across different devices and browsers. Collaborating with designers, content creators, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality. Communicating project progress, technical challenges, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Optimizing website speed and performance through efficient coding practices and plugin management. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to WordPress functionality, compatibility, and performance. Integrating third-party APIs, services, and plugins to enhance website functionality. Customizing WordPress core features to align with project requirements. Regularly updating WordPress core, themes, and plugins to patch security vulnerabilities. Implementing best practices for WordPress security, including secure authentication, data validation, and prevention of SQL injection and cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. Managing server resources to optimize website performance and scalability. Implementing caching mechanisms, content delivery networks (CDNs), and other techniques to improve page load times. Familiarity with performance optimization techniques, including caching, minification, and content delivery. Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to WordPress and server environments. Proficiency in using version control systems like Git for collaboration and code management. Willingness to stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, security threats, and development techniques. Effective communication with both technical and non-technical team members.
