Metro Global Solution Center (MGSC) is internal solution partner for METRO, a \xe2\x82\xac29.8 Billion international wholesaler with operations in 31 countries through 661 stores & a team of 93,000 people globally. Metro operates in a further 10 countries with its Food Service Distribution (FSD) business and it is thus active in a total of 34 countries.

MGSC, location wise is present in Pune (India), D\xc3\xbcsseldorf (Germany) and Szczecin (Poland). We provide IT & Business operations support to 31 countries, speak 24+ languages and process over 18,000 transactions a day. • Develop and maintain web applications using the Laravel PHP framework, Reactjs and Nodejs, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Design and implement database schemas, business logic, and RESTful APIs.
• Develop new user-facing features and user interface components using React.js.
• Collaborate with product managers and UI/UX designers to translate design wireframes and mockups into responsive web applications.
• Build reusable and efficient front-end components and libraries for future use.
• Optimize applications for performance and scalability, ensuring fast load times and efficient data retrieval.
• Conduct thorough testing of applications, identify and fix bugs, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Integrate front-end components developed by the UI/UX team with server-side logic.
• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and propose technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain code quality and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug application issues, addressing performance bottlenecks and system errors.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in PHP, Laravel, and related web technologies, and propose improvements to enhance development processes.
• Maintain and improve existing applications, identify areas for enhancement, and implement performance optimizations.
• Contribute to the documentation of technical specifications and user guides for developed applications.

• Bachelor\'s/master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science, Software Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• At least 5+ years of experience in Laravel, including working with packages, services, and security components
• ReactJS (Composition, State Container like Redux, Bundler like Webpack) , ReactJS Design Patterns, Package Management: NPM, NodeJS API development.
• Proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript, with a strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with ReactJS and its core principles, including component-based architecture and state management (e.g., Redux).
• Familiarity with front-end build tools and package managers (e.g., Webpack, npm).
• Solid understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and a passion for writing clean, organized, and maintainable code.
• Knowledge of application deployment on cloud server
• Knowledge of symfony will be big plus
