Our R&D center in Pune is crucial to our growth and innovation strategy, and our distribution subsidiaries in the APAC region are key to our market expansion.Job Purpose:The Senior Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying web applications with a focus on Azure cloud services and DevOps practices. With 8+ years of experience, the ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of web development technologies, cloud infrastructure, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. This role requires technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and mentor junior developers.Location: Pune, India:Key Responsibilities:Web Application Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using modern web technologies and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, ASP.NET Core).
• Implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces that meet design specifications and enhance user experience.
• Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability through best practices and coding standards.

Azure Cloud Development:

• Develop and deploy web applications and services on Microsoft Azure, utilizing various Azure services (e.g., Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database).
• Configure and manage Azure infrastructure components, including virtual machines, networking, and storage solutions.
• Optimize application performance and scalability on Azure through effective resource management and cost control.

DevOps Practices:

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and other relevant tools.
• Ensure the security and compliance of web applications and cloud infrastructure through best practices and regular assessments.

Collaboration and Leadership:

• Lead and mentor junior developers, providing guidance on best practices, code reviews, and technical challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions, contributing to the development of technical strategies and solutions.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in web development, cloud computing, and DevOps practices.
• Propose and implement improvements to development processes, tools, and technologies to enhance productivity and software quality.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal documentation and knowledge bases.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
• Experience: 9+ years of experience in web development, with a strong background in Azure cloud services and DevOps practices.
• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, ASP.NET Core).
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, including cloud services, infrastructure management, and deployment.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and automation tools.
• Strong understanding of application performance optimization, security best practices, and cloud cost management.
• Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proven leadership abilities with a track record of mentoring and guiding junior developers.
• Proactive attitude, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
