This is what #LifeAtBNY is all about.We\xe2\x80\x99re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President to join our Tax Operations team.As the Senior Vice President, Tax Reporting & Compliance Manager, your role will be pivotal in providing oversight and set priorities for multiple teams responsible for preparing and maintaining tax and regulatory records, returns, and reports for internal and/or external clients.In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Assist clients with development of tax and other regulatory strategies and make recommendations for compliance with regulations.
• Design metrics customized to respective clients and monitor work output to ensure client satisfaction.
• Present analysis and tax and other regulatory strategy recommendations to clients pertaining to regulatory changes or client-specific fund changes.
• Oversee allocation of resources across multiple teams and processes for conducting calculations and reporting on behalf of clients.
• Assist clients in addressing highly complex tax and/or regulatory questions posed by their investors.
• Partner with Corporate Tax to monitor the regulatory landscape.
• Lead development of resulting recommended process changes.
• Recruit, direct, motivate and develop staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
• Manage multiple teams of Tax Reporting and Compliance professionals and support staff. Responsible for the achievement of multiple team goals and objectives, talent management and supervision of team members.

To be successful in this role, we\xe2\x80\x99re seeking the following:

• Bachelors degree in a business discipline or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• 13+ years of total work experience and 5-6 years of management experience preferred.
• Experience in tax reporting and analysis preferred.
