Job Description

• We are looking for a Travel Sales Consultant for the UK Domain.
• Proven work experience of more than 2 years as a Travel Consultant with a focus on Outside Sales.
• Excellent knowledge of Computer Reservation Systems, GDS Systems, and awareness of the e-traveling procedures
• Fluency in the English Language
• Emphatic and sales voice tone and skills to convince the prospects over the call.
• Ability to interact, communicate, and negotiate effectively with prospective customers
• Impeccable understanding of the ongoing and changing trends in international travel
• Expertise and the know-how of the international geography and protocols on travel regulations

Essential Academic Qualifications

A minimum of a graduate degree in Hospitality, Travel and/or Tourism, and/or Business Development is required for the incumbent to apply for the job.

What We Expect from the Prospective Candidate

• The candidate is required to work for the UK Market.
• Attend to telephonic inquiries and book flight tickets while following the standard operating procedures.
• Hands-on skills over Amadeus, Galileo, etc.
• Address the specific and generic concerns of the clients and ensure convincingly they have the right flights using personalizing it either by extensions and/or relevant add-ons.
• Strong understanding of global destinations and itineraries
• Passionate and skilled to match the customer expectations and interests
• Always have a die-hard attitude to serve the customers beyond their expectations
• Should have a strong will to follow up on the issues involving flight bookings or adjusting/altering the travel itineraries, as and when desired.
• Should be aggressive in meeting the monthly targets as assigned by management.
