Position Overview: Ties Institute is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Senior Trainer for our Logistics and Ocean Shipping Course. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in logistics, supply chain management, and ocean shipping operations. The Trainer will be responsible for imparting practical knowledge and skills to our learners, ensuring they are prepared to handle real-world scenarios in the logistics and shipping industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on Logistics and Ocean Shipping.
• Teach the fundamentals and advanced concepts of logistics, including supply chain management, freight forwarding, and transportation planning.
• Provide detailed instruction on ocean shipping operations, including cargo handling, shipping documentation, and international trade regulations.
• Create engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, manuals, and case studies.
• Assess learners' progress through evaluations, quizzes, and practical exercises.
• Stay updated with the latest changes and trends in logistics and ocean shipping.
• Offer one-on-one support and mentorship to learners, helping them overcome challenges and improve their understanding.
• Collaborate with the curriculum development team to continuously improve course content.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience (minimum 5 years) in logistics, supply chain management, and ocean shipping.
• In-depth knowledge of freight forwarding, cargo handling, and shipping documentation.
• Strong understanding of international trade regulations and compliance.
• Proven experience in training or teaching, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to simplify complex information and convey it effectively to learners of varying levels.
• Patient, approachable, and committed to the success of learners.
• Relevant certifications in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in curriculum development and instructional design.
• Familiarity with e-learning platforms and online teaching tools.
• Ability to provide practical insights and real-world examples to enhance learning.
