This hands-on position requires strong collaboration skills to work with cross functional teams to ensure the design of technology solutions complies with MetLifes information security policies, and regulatory obligations. The candidate will have the ability to identify, document, recommend, security safeguards and configurations in a highly complex environment. Must have the ability to recognize, and appropriately incorporate layered security safeguards within the network, cloud, application, and data layers from a defenders perspective.Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the implementation, support, and development of data security solutions to enhance MetLifes data security posture.
Provide tier II engineering and operational support for MetLifes data protection needs. This includes assisting with the implementation and support of emerging data security products.
Assist with milestone planning, provide operational support, deployment coordination, change management, and documentation of new and existing data security technologies.
Work effectively with other Information Security teams and outsourcing providers globally to ensure technology security solutions are in alignment with organizational strategic goals.
Create documentation to ensure appropriate operational process and procedures are followed in the event of business impacting incidents or issues.
Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesEducation
MCA, MSc. Computers or Engineering
Experience
Total exp to be 8-10 years
6-8 years of experience in one or more of the following security technologies:
Data Loss Prevention and Data Classification - such as Mcafee, Symantec, Forcepoint, etc.
Exposure to Database Security - such as Guardium, McAfee, Imperva
SIEM and Logging Platforms - such as Splunk, Qradar, LogRhythm, Snare
Endpoint Protection Platforms - such as Crowdstrike, CarbonBlack, SentinelOne, Tanium
Knowledge and skills (general and technical)
Must process problem solving, planning, and analytical skills to drive continuous improvements
Flexibility in working hours and handling escalation and pressure situations
Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to coordinate cross functionally
Other Requirements (licenses, certifications, specialized training - if required)
Knowledge of modern enterprise and security architectures, their challenges, common approaches to overcome their challenges, and their inherent security strengths and weaknesses.
Experience supporting a global environment extending across multiple countries and time zones.
