Senior Test Automation Engineer
Bangalore, Karnataka, IndiaAs a Test Automation Engineer Lead within the Digital Factory US Middle Markets team, you will be at the forefront of our move towards fully automated testing and deployments for Guidewire releases and enhancements.DISCOVER your opportunityWhat will your essential responsibilities include?\xc2\xb7 Defining and creating the QA Test Strategy document which includes end-to-end functional testing, regression testing, automated testing, acceptance testing and performance testing plans.\xc2\xb7 Develop the Quality Engineering, roadmap, KPIs, standards, and practices for the platform and agile product teams.\xc2\xb7 Track and manage overall testing progress and communicate QA/Test status.\xc2\xb7 Implementing effective QA/Test processes and managing all deliverables, risks, and issues.\xc2\xb7 Participate in Sprint planning sessions, Review Test Requirements/Test Cases and help resolve the queries raised by the QA team.\xc2\xb7 Participate in defect triage meetings (as required) and report on progress.\xc2\xb7 Develop an integrated end-to-end functional test plan.\xc2\xb7 Develop a release user acceptance test plan.\xc2\xb7 Develop a performance test plan and support the creation of performance test scripts.\xc2\xb7 Assess product team requirements and propose test automation solutions to enhance.\xc2\xb7 Mentor and collaborate with product Scrum teams, providing guidance on test automation best practices.\xc2\xb7 Own and lead the design and implementation of test automation frameworks.\xc2\xb7 Create and conduct test automation training and overview sessions for teams.\xc2\xb7 Provide hands-on assistance with automated deployment strategies.\xc2\xb7 Create and deliver reusable CI/CD test pipeline templates.\xc2\xb7 Utilize test automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber Framework, JIRA, Rest Assured, JMeter and CheckMarx.\xc2\xb7 Experience with automated testing tools such as Micro Focus UFT, LoadRunnerYou will report to the Release Train Engineer (Delivery Lead).QualificationsSHARE your talentWere looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:Required Skills and Abilities:\xc2\xb7 Solid understanding of test automation frameworks and best practices.\xc2\xb7 Proficient understanding of Scrum Agile methodology and experience working in a Scrum team.\xc2\xb7 Adaptable to new test automation strategies, tools, and technologies; comfortable with change.\xc2\xb7 Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate test automation goals and influence decisions.\xc2\xb7 Proven ability to establish and maintain robust relationships to achieve test automation goals.\xc2\xb7 Ability to effectively integrate disparate test automation processes and technologies.\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated planning and organizational skills, including workload prioritization and realistic timescales.\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in JAVA/.NET/JS for test automation /Test Automation Frameworks.\xc2\xb7 Experience executing testing in Guidewire SaaS environment.\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter.\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with Guidewire Testing Framework (GTF).\xc2\xb7 Experience with CI/CD tools (AzD, Bamboo, Harness, Jenkins, etc.).\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with Microfocus Testing tools (ALM QC, PC & UFT) & JMETER.\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with JIRA & JIRA X-Ray, Azure, GHE, JFrog/Nexus Artifactory.\xc2\xb7 Eagerness to learn and adapt to new test automation technologies and tools.Desired Skills and Abilities:\xc2\xb7 Experience in Docker, Azure, OpenShift, and Harness/ Azure DevOps/Jenkins is an added advantage.\xc2\xb7 Guidewire Certifications preferred.\xc2\xb7 Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience, with a focus on test automation.FIND your futureAXA XL, the P&C and speciality risk division of AXA, is known for solving complex risks.
