The Corporate Enablers technology function provides IT services to multiple business functions like Finance, HR and General Counsel, globally. CFO Technology collaborates with Finance and Procurement stakeholders globally to develop and support of business applications that underpin all core finance processes across FIL. This includes on-premise and SaaS solutions, both in-house built and vendor provided. There is a strong focus on data analytics, workflow and automation tools to bring greater efficiencies to these functions. Together with this there is continued move towards greater use of Agile and DevOps practices. CFO Technology team is a global team with people based in the UK, China and India. The is the role for an experienced automation tester who should understands the overall architecture, is able to understands the systems involved and the integration points etc. The candidate will be required to work closely with the Test lead and the development team to write the automation test scripts and identify the areas which are critical from the end to end testing & automation perspective. Candidate should have worked on complex projects and programs in past and hence will be able to add value to the overall program. Database testing - PL/SQL skills, able to read stored procedures complex query writing, arithmetic function, aggregate functions API testing (SOAP and REST) Design and implement reusable automatedtestframeworks to drivetestautomationgoals and to support continuous integration and regressiontesting. Utilize and extend existingtestautomationtestharnesses. Provide accurate and reproducible qualitative defect reporting, bug scrubs, and quality metrics with project core teams Integrate with DevOps teams for CI/CD to support them with writing code/testsand promote best practices. Plan, track and estimate producttestingactivitiesevaluate and learn new technologies. 5-7 years of relevant industry experience. Strong experience in Java and/or Python. Experience in tools like TestNG, Junit, Maven etc. Experience in UI Automation using JAVA-Selenium or equivalent technologies. Experience in behaviour driven development using tools like Gauge/Cucumber Strong understanding of software testing lifecycle. Experience in test management tools like Jira/HP ALM.
