JOB DESCRIPTION Job Summary: As a Senior Technical Leader - Embedded System, you will play a principal engineer role in our Research and Development team by leading the design, development, and implementation of embedded systems for our Actuation products. You will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance in embedded electronics, driving the development process, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions. Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership in the design and development of embedded electronics systems for actuation products. Stay updated with the latest advancements in embedded electronics technology, industry trends, and emerging standards. Develop and implement embedded electronics architectures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. Conduct feasibility studies, prototype testing, and validation to ensure the reliability and performance of the embedded electronics systems. Design and optimize electronic circuits, PCB layouts, and component selections for efficient and reliable operation. Collaborate with firmware developers to define and implement software interfaces and ensure seamless integration between hardware and firmware components. Conduct comprehensive testing, including functional, performance, and reliability tests, to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, firmware developers, and system architects to drive product innovation and ensure successful project execution. Mentor and coach technical talent on a new product development and sustaining product engineering programs. Champion the use of systems engineering methods and tools to ensure a robust and documented design and implementation. Ensure that all designs and practices implement and foster a culture of safety, quality, and value. Minimum Qualifications: Master\'s or PhD in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science or other related disciplines. Minimum 5 years of experience in Industrial or Automotive products, preferred experience in Electric Actuators. Proficient in embedded systems skills (e.g. C++, Embedded C, RTOS, Microcontroller, Firmware, Hardware, Device Drivers etc) Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Willingness to travel occasionally.
