Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ability to create simple understandable illustrations from CAD models, drawings, and procedural documents
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and work with CAD models Ability to understand technical concepts
- Ability to communicate clear, concise, and accurate technical information with stakeholders
- Ability to gather information from a variety of sources like drawings, CAD models, engineering data and from subject matter experts
- Ability to work in a collaborative group environment located in different countries
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to review illustrations created by peers on criteria of clarity, completeness, accuracy, style guide and quality.
- Understanding engineering drawings
- 5+ years relevant experience
- Understanding engineering concepts
- DITA and reusability
- Illustration libraries
- IsoDraw
- Coreldraw
- Adobe Illustrator
- IsoDraw CAD process
- Must be familiar with one or more of the following CAD tools;
- Creo
- AutoCad
- Solidworks
- Vertex
- Knowledge in Windchill is preferable
- Technical communications understanding
- Adult education understanding
- Sales argumentation understanding
- Project work understanding
- User segment understanding
- Media understanding
- Project management and implementation experience
