The Wealth Management Cost Basis teams are responsible for maintaining accurate cost basis for Merrill Wealth Management, Consumer Investments, Retirement, Bank of America Securities and Private Bank accounts. The teams review daily activity exceptions requiring manual updates to cost basis, support updating cost basis due to corporate actions, oversee cost basis reporting due to transfers out, as well as support inquiries from Advisors to update basis. Common adjustment requests are received for deceased account basis step-ups, tax acquisition date or basis corrections, and tax lot selection on sales, gifts or transfers. The process is performed when transactions are systematically or manually received to adjust tax lots. The process is completed when the associate completes the update and responds back to the Branch.*This individual will be responsible for overseeing transaction processing, maintaining accuracy in records, and facilitating effective communication between the banking backend, onshore and branch teams. Associate should be comfortable in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, Turn around time and compliance in banking operations.Responsibilities*Approve, initiate and follow up with branch or onshore teamResponsible to interact with LOB and Branch Offices via emailIdentify and escalate control issues, errors and efficiency opportunitiesWork in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to prioritize and multi-task under pressureMust be a team player perspective & be able to communicate confidentlyProvide a high level of quality service, support, and responsiveness to clients of Merrill Lynch, Client Associates and Financial Advisor and communicate effectively with branch & LOB.Ensure that all established procedures are followedRequirements*
