Join us today and experience Life at Visa.The Senior systems analyst position requires an experienced professional with strong technical and application production support experience who understands technology, data and platform components and services and their interrelation to make sure we can deliver scalable, robust products and solutions for the Global AML & Sanctions Compliance program. Senior systems analyst will be responsible for analyzing, proposing and implementing process optimization solutions through automation and best practices. Successful candidate will be working in the Compliance Technology Operations (CTO) team which is part of the Global Ethics and Compliance organization.The candidate will be extensively involved in hands-on querying and analysis activities for tasks related to application production support and monitoring, business exploration ,data analysis, reconciliation exercises, troubleshoot issues, conduct user acceptance testing, and support business stakeholders enquiries on ad hoc basis. The candidate should be a motivated self-starter and quick learner willing to work in a high-pressure fast paced environment and globally located teams .Essential Functions: * Serve as application production support POC to conduct application production monitoring, provide technical support and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

• Ensure system availability and reliability is in control by incorporating appropriate controls to monitor system maintenance and updates.
• Responsible to share communication, responding to system alerts and incidents, and work with cross functional stakeholders to drive issue resolution in a timely manner following incident management protocols and minimize downtime and disruption.
• Escalating critical issues to appropriate teams or management as required.
• Documenting incidents, root cause, impact, severity and resolutions for audit tracking. Automate reporting for easy access and visibility.
• Implementing automation tools and scripts to improve system monitoring and alerting.
• Participating in disaster recovery planning and testing as needed.
• Coordinating with cross functional stakeholders for problem resolution and system enhancements.
• Ensuring all components of the system are running as expected and meeting the service level agreements.
• Assisting in software deployments and roll-outs to the production environment satisfying CTO responsibilities like regression validation, postproduction monitoring, trend analysis etc.
• Collaborate with reporting analytics lead to build dashboards and custom views to review trends and monitor the system performance accessible by cross-functional stakeholders.
• Engage with business users at different levels to understand Compliance business needs, troubleshoot, analyze and evaluate the existing gaps, document the observations/enhancements to business and product stakeholders for feature prioritization.
• Conduct user acceptance testing including frontend, backend and postman API validation for release cycles, defect fixes and other BAU activities. Assisting in the design and development of product features to ensure testability.
• Integrate strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and cross-functional collaboration to drive compliance strategy, lead business process analysis and drive innovation for production support automation and process optimization.
• Perform checks and audits of various systems and data sources to identify and implement operational excellence and control needs. Strong follow-through, ability to drive to closure and resolution of complex system issues.
• Participate in cross-functional stakeholder communications, work in a highly collaborative environment and develop effective relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of technical/programming experience performing production and application support monitoring, troubleshoot issues, participated in every phase of product development process and contributing to product development.
• Prior experience as a system analyst, production support testing or similar role with proven knowledge of working in end-to-end software development lifecycle.
• At least 5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, quantitative analysis, research, data mining, trend analysis etc.
• Results-oriented and a self-starter who enjoys challenges and needs minimal support and direction.
• Experience working in various software methodologies for planning and executing application development, product support and enhancement.
• Self-motivated and team-oriented, able to work both autonomously and effectively as part of a geographically dispersed team.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Prior AML and Compliance experience is a plus.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical and process solutions.
• Passionate about building end-user experiences that deliver measurable value without increasing complexity.
• Willing to work on a flexible schedule across different time zones.
