Key Skills: • Design and implement hardware solutions to meet the organization's IT infrastructure needs.
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
• Install, configure, and maintain servers, network devices, and other IT hardware.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with software engineers and IT professionals to integrate hardware with software
• Systems.
• Evaluate new hardware technologies and make recommendations for upgrades or
• replacements.
• Develop and maintain documentation for hardware configurations, installation procedures,
• and troubleshooting guides.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices for hardware systems.
• Provide technical support and assistance to end-users as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and maintenance activities.
• Allocation of Assets and Inventory Management.
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
• Work closely with vendors and suppliers to procure hardware components and equipment.

Common skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Hardware Engineer, IT Engineer, or similar role.
• Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX /Linux/Mac/Windows based environments.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware components, including servers, storage devices,
• and network equipment.
• Proficiency in hardware design and configuration.
• Experience with server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux) and network
• protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DC, AD DHCP).
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven working experience in Desktop, Laptop (Mac/Dell/Lenovo) and servers (Dell, IBM,HP) maintenance and service.
