Senior Systems Administrator Responsibilities: Provide support of incoming requests to the service desk via telephone, web portal, email to ensure courteous, timely, and effective resolution of end-user issues. Provisioning and system setup for new hires. Prioritize incidents and service requests according to defined processes to meet defined SLAs. Use remote tools and diagnostic utilities to aid in resolving support requests. Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level when remote tools are not appropriate, including hardware repairs, delivery of peripherals, or other fixes as determined. Installing and configuring hardware and software components throughout various network infrastructure devices. Install antivirus software and ensure virus definitions are up to date. \xe2\x80\xa2 Server administration via Active Directory, File & Print services, DNS, DHCP. \xe2\x80\xa2 Network firewall and switch administration and maintenance. \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning of workstations, printers, and peripherals. \xe2\x80\xa2 Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensuring company safety and security standards are met. \xe2\x80\xa2 Network and server solution design and architecture. \xe2\x80\xa2 Migrating on-premises servers and IT infrastructure to cloud. \xe2\x80\xa2 Enabling and using advanced tools and processes to provide cybersecurity protection to client IT infrastructure Senior Systems Administrator Requirements: College diploma or university degree in the field of Computer Science and/or 7+ years equivalent work experience. \xe2\x80\xa2 Exceptional written and oral communication skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience with desktop and server operating systems including Windows 7, Windows 10, Server 2008, Server 2012, Server 2016, Server 2022, and Mac OS. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience writing proposals for technical solutions to fulfill business needs. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong understanding of technology and business productivity systems. \xe2\x80\xa2 Active Directory knowledge and experience. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience with firewalls, switches, routers, AP\xe2\x80\x99s. \xe2\x80\xa2 RMM and PSA Experience. \xe2\x80\xa2 Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport building, listening, and questioning skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good problem-solving skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent customer service skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work under moderate supervision. \xe2\x80\xa2 Sales Engineering experience a plus. \xe2\x80\xa2 Microsoft Server certification preferred. \xe2\x80\xa2 Microsoft Desktop operating systems certification preferred. \xc2\xa9 2020 TeamLogic, Inc.
