Job Details: Job Summary: The Senior Systems Administrator plays an integral role in the deployment team. Assists in system architecture, design, integration and development. The administrator assures systems are well-behaved and all system platform operating systems (Windows, AIX, UNIX, LINUX, etc.) remain current and secure. In addition, the administrator role ensures that upgrades and installation are well-rehearsed and documented prior to conducting official installations. The administrator is the key liaison who works closely with colleagues and customers to ensure systems in-house or deployed Nextfare suite products software and peripherals are kept current and functional. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: At least 5+ years\' experience in managing/maintaining a production Linux (CentOS, RedHat) environment & Windows (2k12/16) environment. Solid experience in administering and deploying virtual and physical systems with Red Hat / centos & Windows Have excellent knowledge on Microsoft Active Directory Domain Service, Domains & Trusts, Sites & Services, DNS, DHCP, PowerShell requirement) Hands-on experience with the complete patch management lifecycle including testing, deploying, troubleshooting missing patches and patch issues, etc. utilizing the change management process and patch management and automation tools necessary to ensure compliance and successful audits. OS security: hardening, selinux, iptables, certificates + secure boot Deep knowledge of Windows & Linux OS, File System, Security, Network protocols, Firewall etc. Support server backups and recovery systems Experience with virtualization such as VMware and Azure Strong understanding of storage systems & administration and management solutions in SAN & NAS environment. Hands on experience with load balancers Experience in configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef Experience in server builds and UNIX administration.
