Job Description

Job Characteristics: Support the sales and operations planning process, including review and analyze planning data and update and publish planning KPI\'s. Responsible for monthly MRP runs and RM planning based on Safety stocks and lead times Creating monthly and weekly production priorities based on the forecast and export demands and safety stock across warehouses Follow up on material availability and product availability as per plan and escalate and deviation and foreseen deviations Work with sales team to give visibility of and critical product shortage and work for alternate supply solutions by connecting with counter parts in other counties Participate in regional planning calls and share best practices of India team and also learn best practices from other countries and horizontal deployment in India market Perform long term planning process and review capacity across the supply chain for both regional and global views and provide recommendations to executive management. Work with business team for new product introduction and/or phase in/out of product portfolio: a smooth transition to avoid market stock out. Create/prepare reports for leadership review and performance communication to business partners. Education/Work Experience: Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field of study. Minimum 5 years of experience required. Independence level/Reports to: Low supervisory support from Manager. Communicates directly with other functions, local sales force & management. Coordinates with Customers. Reports to Planning and/or Logistics Manager.
