:Job Summary:By joining us as a Supplier Performance Engineer, you would have an excellent opportunity to buy materials through MRP and Requisition process from agreed list of suppliers, considering Supply Chain targets (price, quality, inventory) and KPI\xc2\xb4s (DPPM, RDSL, PDSL, LT, etc.). Handling material availability, resolving challenges as they arise and propose solutions for eliminate the root cause of problems in the supply chain.In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Supervise the delivery performance of the assigned suppliers and ensure 95% OTD of the supplies to our sites
• Weekly Open Order Review meeting with suppliers, Analyze and derive an action plan for eliminating the root cause of any delay which affects the delivery performance
• OTD to request date must be above 95% by line and must not go below 85%
• Initiate steps for improving the Lead Time of the supplier(s); Understand the processing sequence at supplier\'s end and suggest ways to improve the process; Work closely to improve the Lead Time meeting market expectations
• Late backlog orders must not exceed 5% of the total open purchase orders with the suppliers
• Implement Lean Projects for process improvement and Lead Time & cost reduction
• Support all Fisher site purchasing teams with weekly review conference calls involving key suppliers
• Quarterly Supplier Business review needs to be conducted including Supplier team & other Key Stakeholders from all WA. Action Points to be Brought together & followed for Completion
• Forecast Consolidation, Stocking overview, NVA elimination to be maintained & implemented for all assigned Suppliers
• Assessing Supplier capability & Capacity required to meet FCV Global demands, joint actions to be initiated along with the team to enhance the Performance
• RCCP (Rough Cut capacity Plan) to be maintained for all suppliers on monthly / weekly basis & alert the site if there is a spike beyond allocation in demand
• Develop and benchmark standard processes among suppliers
• Ensure Relationship development and management with Key Supplier Emerson Account Managers
• Align & supervise the Supplier loading pattern from various sites for specific Project / Product as per the derived strategy
• Weekly updates of all assigned suppliers NPD projects under execution

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must possess the Management skills needed for driving the suppliers/decision making; purchasing/materials/sourcing experience is preferred. Knowledge of Supply Chain Processes/India Supply base/Lean concept
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the vital skills to optimally apply technology and systems specific to the department required.
• Fundamental Engineering knowledge is needed for understanding the workflow at Supplier\'s end
• Better understanding of the process and able to offer solutions.
• Technical competence is needed to understand the processes

• SPE will report to Commodity Manager & will work closely with Global Supplier Quality team & Operations team and Global Lean Supply Chain Manager
• Project based interactions & coordination with respective WA sites to support for Expediting with suppliers

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering with 4 years of experience in the relevant field

• Technically Competent
• Analytical & Problem solving skills
• Exposure to foundry and machine shops
• EMS & ISO 45001
• Awareness about EMS & ISO 45001 practices
• Experience in ISO 14001:2015 - ISO 45001:2018 - ISO 9001:2015 procedures & instructions
