Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of various structures. The Structural Engineer will ensure that structures are safe, stable, and meet all regulatory and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and Analysis:
• Develop and design structural plans for buildings and other structures.
• Conduct structural analysis to ensure stability, strength, and rigidity.
• Use software tools such as AutoCAD, STAAD, SAP2000, or similar for design and analysis.
• Create detailed drawings and specifications for construction.
• Project Management:
• Oversee and manage structural projects from conception through completion.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering professionals.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
• Site Inspections and Compliance:
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Inspect completed structures and make recommendations for any necessary modifications.
• Ensure all projects adhere to local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
• Problem Solving:
• Identify and resolve design issues during the construction phase.
• Provide technical advice and support to project teams.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Prepare and present reports on project status, compliance, and engineering analyses.
• Maintain accurate records of design calculations, project specifications, and other documentation.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Licenses/Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD, SAP2000).
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
Working Conditions:
• Primarily office-based, with regular site visits.
• May involve occasional travel to project sites.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to conduct site inspections, which may include climbing ladders and working at heights.

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
