Job Description

Responsibilities ??:
• Strong collaboration with functional and infrastructure teams as well as external partners
• Responsible for managing technical implementation and support of corporate applications incl. reporting of metrics with offshore staff augmentation team
• Plan & execute application patching and lifecycle management execution with functional application owners
• Establish and sustain process for certificate management
• Assure application configuration & development & installation complies with Celanese standards and controls
• Responsible for planning and coordination of monthly maintenance activities across all corporate applications
• Provide escalation support promptly and lead RCA & problem management activities

Qualifications ??:
• Strong experience leading an offshore corporate application support team and coordinating resources & work across multiple projects and maintenance activities
• Strong experience with design and deployment of high-performance, scalable, distributed web, Linux/Unix and windows applications
• Experience in Shell Scripting, Python, Pearl, Java, C# Net, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST/SOAP API's, Oracle, MS SQL or mysql
• Experience in .NET framework 4.0 Unix and Shell Scripting
• Experience in Server Administration by using Apache Tomcat and IIS Web Server
• Knowledge of data access methods like ADO.NET, ADO, RDO, DAO and ODBC for JET and Relational databases
• Experience in troubleshooting approaches and technical skills to conduct root cause analysis.
• Good written and verbal communication skills to align across global teams and the ability to transfer complex technical scenarios into business language and vice versa
