Job TitleSr Solution EngineerRole Summary&Role DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled and experienced hands on Sr Solution Engineer to join our growing team. As a Sr Solution Engineer, you will play an important role in the build up of complex software platforms, owing and contributing towards the complete application design and life cycle management.In this role, you will primarily collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business use cases, define detailed requirements, work with development teams in designing scalable and sustainable solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives and technology standards.You will contribute actively towards design and architecture of end-to-end solutions, proof of concepts, tech feasibility exercises and work on solution architecture considering factors such as scalability, reliability, performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.You will work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, identify pain points, and propose innovative solutions that address business challenges.You will collaborate with project managers, business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.You will identify potential risks and dependencies early in the project lifecycle and propose mitigation strategies to minimize impact.Core/Must have skillsProven experience of 5+ years as a Software Architect or similar role, with a strong background in software development and architecture.Expertise in designing scalable, distributed, and highly available enterprise solutions.Proficiency in architectural modeling tools and techniques (e.g., UML).Good knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and experience of Cloud migrations.Good understanding of architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven architecture) and integration patterns (e.g., RESTful APIs, messaging queues).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Good to have skillsCertifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect is a plus.Work ScheduleOn PremiseKeywords (If any)Solutiion ArchitectWhy this role is important to usOur technology function, Global Technology Services (GTS), is vital to State Street and is the key enabler for our business to deliver data and insights to our clients.
