As a Senior Solution Architect, you will be part of an amazing team tasked with architecting innovative IT solutions to support the Product Development, Approval and License Management domain You will be working in the Clinical Trial Execution Product Line specific to Study Startup & Conduct that enables the end to end execution of clinical studies, from startup, through enrollment and monitoring, to study close out, Disease Area and Study Operational Strategy, Risk Based Quality Management, Clinical Site and Investigator Engagement and Audit Planning and Prioritization to support audit planning, prioritization and resourcing prior to audit execution Key Responsibilities: Design solutions according to enterprise standards Conduct architecture review of currently existing solutions to ensure continuous improvement Research, evaluate, and create proof of concepts to adopt new technologies Design non-functional requirements and implementation review to identify gaps between design and code Keep up to date on new industry and emerging technologies which can provide advantages and groundbreaking innovations & benefit the business Drive the identification of the most appropriate solution for Roche through formal RFI/RFP/RFQ (Request for Information/Proposal/Quotation) processes. Evaluate feasibility of potential solutions in collaboration with business users and Subject Matter Experts Seek opportunities to create additional value and improve business processes Architect, build, maintain, and operate enterprise-grade systems/applications Who You Are: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical discipline with 7-12 years of professional IT experience in a major, global organization At least 5 years experience in at least two IT disciplines in a client/server or service-oriented architecture Experience in the pharmaceutical industry Experience in Clinical Trial Execution is a plus Knowledge about evidence submissions for medical, regulatory and access is a plus Experience with SAFe or any other lean-agile framework is a plus Strong communication skills Negotiation skills, long term and strategic thinking without losing the actual needs, teamwork and fast integration into bigger teams Experience in working in a multicultural and international environment Advanced English reading, writing, listening and speaking skills
